The SEL books you provided have become essential teaching tools. Students are engaging with stories that reflect their own challenges, and they are beginning to apply the emotional‑regulation strategies modeled by the characters. This has led to more productive conversations about feelings and improved communication during difficult moments. We have the stuffed visual spots that go along with the books on visual display so that students can grab them and use them to share how they feel when they don't have the words.\r\n\r\nThe hands‑on SEL tools have also made a noticeable difference. The visual timer has helped students understand expectations and transitions, reducing anxiety and increasing on‑task behavior. The calming strips offer a discreet sensory support that many students now use independently when they feel overwhelmed. These resources have contributed to a calmer, more structured classroom environment where students feel supported and ready to learn.","fullyFundedDate":1770861054112,"projectUrl":"project/sel-supports-for-special-students/9927528/","projectTitle":"SEL Supports for Special Students","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Daly","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/msdalynguyen"},{"teacherId":9214527,"projectId":9553796,"letterContent":"The headphones help my students focus and fully engage with digital learning activities like reading programs, listening to stories, and phonics practice. When we are learning to read and write, I can easily point out mistakes and help them make corrections. I can hear their voice because I am in close proximity. They were so excited to unbox the headphones and try them out!. Their sentences were longer, there were more details in their writing, and they shared so much more. \r\n\r\nEven better they could go back and listen to what they wrote with the text to speech feature allowing them to edit and revise their writing.
