Each of the students has their favorite kind of seat. They are eager to come in, grab their favorite type of chair, and get to work! I am so happy that I decided to go with 3 different types of seating as one does not work for all of the kids.\r\n\r\nThe first day that I had the flexible seating out, the kids were so excited. I put on a video of a virtual roller coaster, which we watched and experienced on the various wiggle seats. This allowed them to try out the different types of seating in a fun way. We then practiced writing with the different types of chairs that were available to them. Many of them were very excited to try each one, but quickly chose their favorite.\r\n\r\nI want to continue to work on projects that allow for additional ways to make the Special Education Resource Room an inviting and safe area.
