They often toppled over, causing distractions and frustration. Instead of focusing on their tests, students spent time trying to keep the folders upright. We also didn't have any calming strips available to help students manage testing anxiety.\r\n\r\nNow, thanks to your donation, testing has become something my students actually look forward to! They love getting to choose from the new black privacy folders decorated with bright pictures and positive, encouraging words. Each one fits perfectly on their table without falling, and it doesn't take up too much space. Best of all, every student gets their own!\r\n\r\nThe calming strips have been a huge hit as well. My students love the textured feel beneath their fingers and find them especially helpful during tests. They use them to calm their nerves, and some even like to touch them throughout the entire testing period. The positive words printed on them are another uplifting touch that the kids enjoy seeing and reading.\r\n\r\nI'm incredibly grateful for your kindness and generosity. These books goes great with my school monthly SEL character trait focus theme. \r\n\r\nThe students are understanding how to express their emotions and be more aware of their peers' emotion too. The parents also appreciate it alot because most of them would not be able to afford to buy/donate a pencil pouch for their own child. The students enjoy being able to zip and unzip to get their pencil out. Since I was able to get some many pencil pouches, I can use it for my future classroom for many years to come.
