Using the Teachers Pay Teachers gift card, I was able to purchase multiple resources for my students to use right now, and for many more groups of TK students to utilize in the years to come. \r\n\r\nMy favorite resource was a Name Craft Bundle that allows me to simply edit the file with my students names, print, and have meaningful name, coloring, cutting and gluing practice for my students to work on each week. The crafts are themed, which makes aligning the projects to the season or holiday of the month and easy and fun! Most recently, my students made leprechauns and bunny rabbits, and proudly hung them in our classroom right before our family night.\r\n\r\nIn addition, this project funded color printer ink, cardstock, and laminating sheets. I was able to prep new tasks cards for our small group table centers and give them a nice refresh, just in time for spring! Getting comfortable in a new grade level this year has truly been an adventure, and I am so grateful for the items that I received because of your generous donations. My students are loving all the new imaginary play items they get to explore during free choice center time. I am often told, \"Mrs. Pieper, you need a haircut!\" as one my students leads me over to the kitchen wearing their beautician outfit and holding the plastic scissors. \r\n\r\nMy students are able to experience turn-taking, problem-solving, and social negotiation throughout their time dressing up and \"cooking\" meals for each other. While one student is giving a \"haircut,\" another student is \"fixing\" the leg of the refrigerated while wearing a construction vest. \r\n\r\nI love seeing my students learn and grow through play.
