They were excited to see the colorful manipulative (especially magnets), communication boards, and interactive activities displayed at their level. For my moderate/severe preschool class, having materials presented in a clear, organized, and accessible way has made a huge difference. We use the easel throughout the day. One of my favorite moments was watching two of my students play with magnets together using emerging play and pretend play skills.\r\n\r\nThis was let has quickly become a big part of our daily routines. It allows me to adapt lessons to meet each student's unique needs while keeping everyone engaged and included. As we continue working on communication, early literacy, social skills, and independence, the easel gives us the flexibility to introduce new visual supports, interactive activities, and sensory learning experiences. Your generosity has created opportunities for my students to participate more confidently and successfully each day. Thank you for believing in my kiddosnand helping provide a learning environment where every child can grow, communicate, and shine.","fullyFundedDate":1761323550825,"projectUrl":"project/support-our-sdc-pre-k-classroom-with-a-d/9684760/","projectTitle":"Support Our SDC Pre-K Classroom with a Double-Wide Teaching Easel!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kaylin","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4320480_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1536873539181","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4320480"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_54920","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":544,"numTeachers":22,"percentFrplEligible":34,"percentAsian":5,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":49,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":39,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":4,"gradesServed":"Pre-K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"24.7:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":92.0,"schoolId":54920,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Centennial Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Centennial Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/rosedale-union-school-district/centennial-elementary-school/54920"}
