My students have been using them regularly (specifically the slime), and it has really helped them to focus. They were surprised and excited when they saw the boxes of items come in, and quickly started using the fidgets and slime items, as well as enjoying a treat (those ran out quicker than I had anticipated). The slime was a great resource for students who struggled to focus or stay on task, as they were able to get their need to fidget out while also doing their work or reading. Unfortunately, on a day that I had a sub, someone stole all of the slime, as well as some of the fidgets (mostly all of the squish balls), so it has taken me a bit longer to write this than I had anticipated, because I was hoping that someone would fess up and return the stolen items. I am incredibly thankful that I was able to provide, with your help, these resources to the kids and that they were able to use them while they were here.
