We were able to purchase 3 conga drums, 2 bongo drums, a floor tom and 2 hand drums with your gift. The drums are being used by all of my 375 students at my elementary school. \r\nThe upper grade students are in the beginning stages of learning some of the World Drumming Ensemble pieces. These pieces require us to have drums of different sizes and timbres. Our new drums are the perfect size for my 3rd-6th graders. \r\nThe lower grade students are using these drums to start exploring rhythms by playing un-pitched percussion instruments. They get so excited when I have the instruments set up. \r\nWe are currently reading a story called, 'The Old Lady who Wasn't Afraid of Anything'. The story requires us to 'Stomp', 'Clap', 'Shake', 'Wiggle' and 'Boo' with different instruments.
