They love stamping out their names, sight words, and numbers they are learning. \r\n\r\nThe chairback pockets are helping them keep their journals, tracing work, and coloring pages neatly organized. That is what I saw when I informed my combo class of 6 kinders and 18 1st graders of our donation box that arrived. I informed students that inside the box there was something for each of them to use daily to stay organized and to help reading. \r\n\r\nWe have been using the POCKET CHAIRS daily! It is so nice not to have books fall out of desk and stop teaching and have students multiple times a day pick up their books anymore.\r\nStudents have been reading daily and reading with buddies. When the package with all the amazing materials started to arrive at our classroom. Some students had wide eyed eyes and big smiles as they saw playdoh, sand trays, reading books, and magnetic tiles.\r\n We have been busy learning spelling words and sight words on the sand trays. For math, we have been busy adding and subtracting with playdoh by making marble size playdoh balls.\r\n Students have daily exposure to these wonderful useful and fun manipulatives!
