Your gifts helped my students with moderate to intensive support needs maintain academic and functional skills throughout their summer enrichment program.\r\n\r\nPlay is learning. It allows students to express feelings, work through fears, and develop empathy. It promotes a safe space to process emotions and build resilience. Play also promotes verbal and nonverbal communication, The books, play, and sensory items that you provided enabled me to individualize support and help our students build social skills, such as cooperative play, sharing, problem solving, and self-regulation. These items gave our students the opportunities for social interaction and peer engagement, which is vital in developing our students/ communication and social-emotional skills. The items also helped improve our students/ fine and gross motor skills and they increased their creativity.\r\n\r\nYour generosity helped our students grow and thrive in a fun, inviting, and educational environment.
