The snacks that were purchased using your donations have allowed me to fill drawers for my students to visit when they are in need of a snack. The students are able to get the fuel they need to stay focused in my classroom. The wipes that were purchased allow me to fight off germs and minimize the spread of illnesses in my classroom. This helps keep in students healthy and coming to school. The other supplies purchased help keep daily supplies organized and easily accessible to students. \r\n When I opened up the packages and shared the materials the students were very excited. They were eager to set up the snack station to allow for their classmates to get what they need without feeling embarrassed and organizing them so that all choices could be seen. The students also enjoy using the wipes to keep their space clean and ready for them to learn. \r\n Each year my students get to participate in creating a class book. This class book allows each student to create a one page writing and one page illustration based on the prompt of the year. This year my students are writing about how our class is an Ohana ( family) and how they each have an important role in the class to make sure no one feels forgotten. They like to push the buttons and hear the words said repeatedly. The items have made an impact on the students as they are really exploring the toys. \r\n\r\nThe books have been a great addition to the classroom I have students who enjoy to read and those who enjoy being read to. The donations that have been provided to my class have been very helpful and as grateful for them.
