My students have loved our cozy space in the classroom, where they go for reading and small group work frequently. The large cushions make Read Aloud time extra comfy.\r\n\r\nWhen the kids first saw the new space, they immediately went over to touch the cushions and roll on the rug. Since then, we've discussed how to use this space to make it best for our learning. Students in the after-school program will often come to play chess there, and many, many kids come to visit during lunch to feel the space.\r\n\r\nI would like to use this space even more as we move through the year and delve into our Animal and Ecosystem research projects. Our cozy space will be the perfect little library to research.
