Because of your generosity, my TK students now have access to engaging, age-appropriate books that spark curiosity, build language skills, and foster a love of reading.\r\n\r\nWe use these books throughout the day during whole-group read-alouds, small-group instruction, and independent exploration. One special moment that stands out was during story time when students eagerly gathered around the new bookshelf, excited to choose a book and make predictions based on the cover. Many students began retelling parts of the stories using pictures, gestures, and new vocabulary, showing growth in both comprehension and oral language development.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the bookshelf and books, their excitement was immediate and contagious. They rushed over to explore the colorful covers, carefully pulling out books and asking if we could read them right away. Several students shared that they had never seen so many books just for them, and they proudly helped organize and care for the bookshelf as if it were their own classroom library.\r\n\r\nThanks to you, our next steps include using these books to deepen comprehension skills, expand vocabulary, and support thematic learning across subjects. We will continue incorporating interactive read-alouds, story discussions, and connections to writing, art, and play-based activities. These books are helping students see themselves as readers and learners, building a strong foundation for future academic success.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has made a lasting impact on our classroom and has opened the door to joyful learning through books. Because of your generosity, my TK students now have a safe, engaging tool that helps them learn how to manage big feelings and practice self-regulation in a developmentally appropriate way.\r\n\r\nWe use the calming cube daily as part of our social-emotional learning routine. When students are feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, or need a moment to reset, they can choose an activity from the cube—such as deep breathing, gentle movement, or a calming sensory task. One special moment that stands out was when a student who often struggles during transitions independently went to the calming cube, completed an activity, and then rejoined the group feeling proud and ready to learn. It has become a powerful tool for helping students build independence and emotional awareness.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the calming cube, they were beyond excited. Their faces lit up as they explored each side, eagerly asking questions and taking turns trying out the activities. They immediately understood that this was a special tool meant to help them feel calm and safe. Several students even shared that the cube helped their \"body feel better,\" which was incredibly meaningful to hear from such young learners.\r\n\r\nThanks to you, our next steps include continuing to embed the calming cube into our daily routines and teaching students how to recognize their emotions and choose strategies that work best for them. We are also beginning lessons focused on naming feelings, problem-solving with peers, and using calming strategies proactively—not just when emotions feel big. These skills will support them not only in the classroom but throughout their school journey.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has made a lasting impact on our classroom community. My TK students have been using these materials every single day. The writing table has become one of their favorite places to color, make little books, and practice writing and drawing. The light trays have been amazing for helping them trace letters, shapes, and even their own pictures. One of my favorite moments was watching a group of students work together to create a \"class book,\" about our favorite parts of the book. They loved tracing their cover designs on the light trays and then writing their names on the front at the writing table—they were so proud.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the kids were SO excited. Their faces lit up when they saw the glowing trays, and they couldn't wait to try them. Many of them immediately sat down and started tracing letters and drawing pictures. A few students who are usually hesitant to write were suddenly eager to join in because the light trays made it feel fun and magical.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, my students are now taking the next steps in their writing and drawing skills. We're currently working on telling stories with pictures and beginning to label their drawings. The writing table and tracing trays give them the confidence and tools to practice every day. These special moments are now even more cherished, thanks to you.\r\n\r\nThe ABC soup materials have been a huge hit with our early learners! From collaborative murals to imaginative paintings, the children have explored visual arts freely and enthusiastically — all while developing fine motor skills and a love for creative expression.\r\n\r\nAnd of course, we are so grateful for all the wonderful books you've helped provide. These stories have become windows into new worlds and mirrors of our own experiences. The students not only read them — they act them out, talk about them, and grow through them.
