Lastly, the applicator makes it so easy to hang student work and add it neatly in the classroom! Their faces were thrilled when we opened up the boxes and showed them how to use the boards. We added batteries and the began using them in small group centers regularly! Using the sand spell boards really made their learning engaging. It also helped give them a creative outlet to do something routine and basic in class. Learning the foundational skills of reading and spelling can sometimes be monotonous and this really helped break it up!
