I could not ask for a greater class! Most groan at the mention of a combo class, but I am truly the lucky winner. My third and fourth grade students are all capable of exceeding expectations and I look forward to helping them reach new heights. In just a short time they have displayed their innate abilities to work collaboratively and creatively with one another. But, what stands out the most is their hunger for technology. You can hear a pin drop while my students are learning to code. They are on the edges of their seats waiting to post their digital creations on Edmodo, and their faces light up (figuratively and literally) when they are given the opportunity to show their learning using a device. We are fortunate enough to live in a wonderful community, but additional funding for technology is needed.
