My students use them on a daily basis to scan worksheets that are written in English. These devices allow students to actively engage in all activities and participate in discussions regardless of their language abilities.\r\n\r\nRecently, I observed a Vietnamese-speaking student use the translator device to translate an English Language Arts article into her home language. Within seconds, she had access and understanding to the article and moved forward in the assignment without skipping a beat.\r\n\r\nToday, I was working with a Spanish speaking student and we were learning about a historical person in history. She was able to use the translator device to scan the slideshow and translate it into Spanish. From there, she continued with the assignment which was to write notes on what she learned. I was really proud of her for keeping up with the assignment, and it was clear that she was proud of herself too.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your kindness and willingness to help.
