We try to offer as many opportunities to our students as we can, and your support makes it possible for us to continue to do this. The supplies and equipment that you are providing for my students will allow us to teach/reinforce good habits of practice, patience, and precision. Good habits help promote good mental health, which in-turn promotes regular school attendance. Regular school attendance can change the students' lives.\r\n\r\nThe new equipment will help to enhance our experience in multiple ways. The technology embedded in the NUX amplifiers will allow our students to access sounds that can be customized by them at their finger tips using a free app. This alone will enhance their knowledge and skill of creating the sound they want to create with the guitar. \r\nThe drumsticks will be distributed to all who wish to learn timing, rhythm, and feel. By having their own set it allows the student to take ownership and responsibility for their practice. \r\nOverall our club is excited to get going once again and the new equipment was a real hit! As you know anxiety comes in many forms and can make this difficult for many...the food you helped us get often helps when students come in with upset tummies due stress or feeling anxious. Yummy comfort food has helped many of them ease that anxious feeling and definitely helps them get back to class quicker.\r\n\r\nThe variety of Fidgets have been awesome to help soothe that anxiety that often triggers shaking hands, bouncy legs and sweaty palms. I also give them away to students that have been getting better grades and improving their attendance and it really motivates them to keep trying! \r\n\r\nEven my GSA support group have truly enjoyed the fidgets and the food as well. No more hurdles held together with zip ties and duct tape. No more dented relay batons. No more measuring tapes that have to be wound up by hand often getting tangled up. This new equipment has been a renewed source of pride for our athletes. Some days it's hard to get them to end practice because they love the new equipment so much.\r\n\r\nWe owe this all to you folks for your donation. It was also fun for me to teach them how to play some of these games. Some groups collaborated to learn a new game and trying to understand the instructions.
