Due to your donation we were able to bring back a our yearbook, provide student with professionally looking senior portraits, and give students multiple modes of artistic expression through the use of photography. All of which has been student lead, photographed, edited, and compiled. With the generous donation, you gave our students access to photography materials such with these cameras which has contributed to inspiring many students and fulfilling the possibility to attempt their passion projects. \r\n\r\nFirst thing that we are grateful for is the ability to allow our students to have a yearbook this year. With the cameras and gear, students in art class have created a unit around yearbook in which they have gone around practicing their photography skills and putting them to good use by having their photos be the ones we use in our year book. This way we can both feature student work and have long lasting memories that each student leaves with at the end of the year. Secondly, we are so thankful for the ability to take professionally looking senior portraits. At an underfunded school, we don't have the means to hire a professional photographer, and our students deserve better than an iPhone photo for their senior portraits. With this equipment we have given our senior beautifully taken and edited photos to remember this exciting time in their lives. This also give additional practice to our art students who have learned and practiced taking portraits. With this donation we are serving both memories and learned photography skills that will be useful for them as they go on to explore their passion with art later on in life. \r\n\r\nThank you again for the support, and for putting miles on our students faces. The students have worked diligently to earn school money to make purchases in our student store. They fan out their \"bucks\" to brag about their earnings, then strategically make purchases to share with friends.\r\nAs a staff we have enjoyed being able to see students working towards goals that have helped them become highly successful while benefiting from their efforts. Classes are busier than before with students focused on success and the joy of earning school money. The staff enjoy watching students engage with one another sharing how they earned their money.\r\nYour generous donation has brought joy to more than students. It has helped transform our school culture to a far more positive environment.
