Your generosity has made a lasting impact on our students and our school community.\r\n\r\nThese engaging books are the foundation for speech and language lessons that helped students build vocabulary, practice speech sounds, learn categories, answer questions about stories, retell events, and strengthen early literacy skills.\r\n\r\nOne of the most rewarding aspects of this project was providing books that featured a diverse cast of characters. It is so important that children see themselves reflected in the stories they read. Watching students make personal connections with the characters increased their excitement for reading and helped them feel that they, too, belong in every kind of story—even magical ones.\r\n\r\nThe impact of your generosity did not end when our lessons were finished. Once we completed our Magic unit, we donated the books to our school library so that every student in our school can continue to enjoy them.
