Because of your kindness, my students gained hands-on experience running a real student business and saw the impact of their work through tangible products they designed and created. The most exciting part for students was watching their ideas come to life: designing pins, producing them, and sharing their work with others. Many students proudly invites friends and family to visit our classroom on sales days and showcases their designs, explains their profit ideas, and talks about their future business plans. This experience helped build confidence, ownership, and pride in their work.\r\n\r\nThrough this project, students learned to use Canva to design products, explored pricing strategies and marketing techniques, and practiced sales concepts such as product displays, complementary items, and bundle deals. Students works in rotating teams that simulates real business departments, strengthens collaboration and communication skills. They also created custom pins to celebrate our school's sports teams by designing personalized pins with names and jersey numbers that were presented at sports banquets. This makes learning meaningful and connects to our school community.\r\n\r\nStudents are also developing financial literacy and technology skills by tracking sales, calculating profits, and learning about balance sheets, banking systems, and professional computer use. These experiences are helping them become more confident learners and preparing them for success in high school, college, and future careers.
