This is a powerful text is that is geared towards high school readers. Just Mercy is more than just a book; it's a tool for intellectual and personal growth. It provides a direct and accessible way for students to connect with real world issues of race, poverty, and the American legal system. As students read about Bryan Stevenson's work, they will be challenged to think critically, develop empathy, and engage in meaningful discussions about fairness and compassion. They were eager to explore the many Amazon boxes, and many of them immediately started asking how they could use them. For some students, having access to the right tools—like noise-canceling headphones and fidget items—has made focusing and participating in activities much easier.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are using these supplies to support upcoming lessons on life skills, academic growth, and self-advocacy.
