These stools allow for gentle movement, which helps regulate their energy and improve attention while working on important speech and language skills. Many of my students benefit from having an outlet for their natural need to wiggle, making it easier for them to concentrate without feeling restless. The slight motion also promotes core strength and better posture, which supports overall learning. By incorporating movement into therapy, I can create a more effective and comfortable learning environment that meets my students' individual needs.\r\n\r\nAs a speech therapist, I love seeing how excited my students are to use the wobbly stools during our sessions! The moment they walk into the room, their eyes light up as they rush to claim their favorite one. They eagerly sit down, immediately rocking and balancing with big smiles on their faces. It's incredible to watch how this simple movement helps them settle in, focus, and participate more actively. Many of my students tell me they love how the stools make speech therapy feel more fun, almost like a game. The added movement not only keeps them engaged but also boosts their confidence as they practice their speech and language skills in a way that feels natural and enjoyable. The stools have truly transformed my sessions, making learning both exciting and effective!","fullyFundedDate":1730420967955,"projectUrl":"project/help-meet-my-students-sensory-needs/8613290/","projectTitle":"Help Meet My Students Sensory Needs!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. S.","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4233839"},{"teacherId":326400,"projectId":8514506,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generosity! This year started off rather rough, my students had to endure unexpected behaviors in the classroom several times a week. Each student received a little stuffy and a snack to shared with a friend or someone who they thought needed to smile. It was wonderful seeing so many students smile and laugh together.
