One of the most exciting parts of introducing percussion instruments is watching students discover how they can create music together. The drums give them an opportunity to move beyond simply listening to music and become active musicians themselves!\r\n\r\nThe excitement of having instruments to play is wonderful to see! Students are eager to participate, experiment with different sounds, and take turns creating rhythms. These instruments also help students develop important skills such as listening, coordination, teamwork, and confidence.\r\n\r\nAs we continue our music lessons, students will build on their rhythmic skills by learning more complex patterns, exploring different musical styles, and participating in group percussion activities. My goal is to help students become confident musicians while encouraging creativity and a lifelong appreciation for music.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making these musical experiences possible.
