As a new occupational therapist in the schools, I am so grateful for your support in helping me create a space that promotes hands-on learning, creativity, and growth for my students.\r\n\r\nBecause of your donation, my students now have access to engaging fine motor games and sensory materials that make therapy sessions fun, meaningful, and effective. These tools allow my students to work on essential skills such as hand strength, coordination, attention, and self-regulation — all while enjoying themselves and feeling successful. For many of my students, these skills are key to helping them participate more fully in their classrooms and daily routines. Whenever they come into the OT room each student has a smile on their face because of the materials you donated. \r\n\r\nThe excitement on their faces when they explore the new materials is priceless. Activities that once felt challenging are now opportunities for joy, focus, and pride. Your support is helping me build not only skills, but also confidence and independence in each child I work with. I thank YOU for this. \r\n\r\nThank you for believing in the power of occupational therapy and for investing in the success of students who benefit so deeply from these resources. Your generosity is making a real difference in our school community, and I am so grateful to have your support as I begin this journey as a new OT.","fullyFundedDate":1746786434721,"projectUrl":"project/new-occupational-therapist/9080374/","projectTitle":"New Occupational Therapist","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Ashley","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9907826"},{"teacherId":8686306,"projectId":9463157,"letterContent":"Your generosity truly amazes me. My students and I were thrilled to receive the wonderful items from my DonorsChoose list. I've had a fantastic time creating engaging math stations that captivate the children's interest. They particularly enjoy working with the 10 frames, base 10 blocks, and the magnetic number tracing board. The adding in of cars for tracing numbers and letters has also been a big hit.\r\n\r\n Hands-on activities, such as making numbers and letters with bingo daubers and modeling clay have made learning even more enjoyable. Teaching becomes so much more rewarding when students are actively engaged and having fun. \r\n\r\n Thank you once again for your kindness; it has made a significant impact in our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1755744538842,"projectUrl":"project/math-magic-hands-on-centers-that-inspire/9463157/","projectTitle":"Math Magic-Hands-On Centers That Inspire Young Learners","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Steers","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8686306"},{"teacherId":8686306,"projectId":9463374,"letterContent":"I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of you for making learning such an enjoyable experience for my students. Your generosity and kindness have allowed me to create engaging learning centers where children can explore at their own pace and according to their individual abilities.\r\n\r\n Among the various stations we have activities focused on the letter of the week. The children enjoy using the magnetic letter board, navigating the letter maze, and engaging with playdough mats, along with bingo wands and chips. Additionally, they are working on CVC words, utilizing resources like magnetic letters, Mega Blocks, dry erase dots, Rainbow Magnetic CVC objects, and Pop Tubes, all of which significantly enhance their understanding of these concepts.\r\n\r\n It's incredibly rewarding to hear the children exclaim, \"This was the best day ever!\" or \"I love center day!\" Thank you for providing them with the opportunity to learn in a fun and interactive way. My students arrive at school filled with excitement and eager to learn, many of whom have never stepped foot in a classroom before. The My First Ticonderoga pencils were truly a game changer for these children, making it much easier for them to learn the tripod grip and write their letters and names. They light up with joy whenever I refill their crayon boxes with the vibrant new crayons, some of which I specifically choose for math to help them easily identify primary colors for their work. Additionally, they love using playdough to form letters and numbers, especially when they finish their tasks early.\r\n As you can imagine, there are many scraped knees and elbows in Kindergarten. The wonderful band-aids not only help heal their physical injuries but also provide emotional comfort. There's nothing quite like a band-aid to ease the pain, especially one featuring Toy Story characters. I also appreciated the adorable crayon nametags, which made it much easier for me to learn my students' names.\r\n I am immensely grateful to all of you wonderful donors for your support.
