They were deeply engaged throughout the process and loved observing the daily changes, asking questions, and making connections to our science learning.\r\n\r\nThis project brought so much joy, curiosity, and wonder into our classroom. Many students said it was one of their favorite activities of the year! The fidgets have already made a meaningful difference for many of my students. In a first-grade classroom, it can be challenging for some learners to stay focused during whole-group lessons or independent work time. Having access to these tools has given students a positive way to manage their energy while still staying engaged in learning.\r\n\r\nWhen the package arrived, my students were so excited to see what was inside. We talked about how the fidgets are tools that help our brains focus and how they can be used responsibly during lessons. Many students immediately noticed that having something small to keep their hands busy helped them listen more carefully and stay in their seats longer during reading and math instruction. It has been wonderful to see students take ownership of using these tools appropriately.\r\n\r\nThese resources will continue to support our classroom as we move into more challenging lessons this spring. As students work on building reading fluency, solving math problems, and participating in collaborative activities, the fidgets help them regulate their bodies so they can focus on learning.
