Tools like the Geostix, protractors, and compasses allowed students to physically build shapes, measure angles, and create geometric models. Geometry became so much more accessible when they could build and see the concepts off the paper. Armed with new tape measures, our students went outside and used similar triangles and trigonometry to calculate heights of real-world objects and angles of the sun. The new dry erase boards and markers further gave our students a shared space to brainstorm, work through complex equations in teams, and celebrate those \"aha!\" moments together.\r\n\r\nYour generosity also reached beyond our current classes.
