Monsters University came to our 2nd grade classroom and it was amazing!\r\n\r\nThe kids were so excited to see the classroom transformed and raced inside to put on their hats and lanyards! So many of them asked \"Do we get to keep these?\" When I said \"Yes!\" I was instantly surrounded by kids hugging me and thanking me! \r\n\r\nAll morning the fraternities (table groups) competed in our version of the Scare Games. They worked together on fun math and language arts games and activities, all with a monster theme. Student engagement and teamwork was off the charts!\r\n\r\nAt the end of the games, the fraternity with the most completed activities got to spin the prize wheel! Oozma Kappa was our winning team!\r\n\r\nI hope the student letters and the photos I uploaded will convey just how much the kids enjoyed our day.
