Thanks to your support, we now have a beautiful collection of National Geographic nonfiction books that are already making a big impact on my high school special education students.\r\n\r\nThese books are engaging, visually rich, and accessible—making them a perfect fit for a range of reading abilities and learning styles. The vibrant images and high-interest topics help bring reading to life for students who might otherwise struggle to stay engaged with traditional texts. From wild animals and faraway places to science discoveries and environmental wonders, our students are discovering a whole new world through reading.\r\n\r\nOne of my students, who rarely picks up a book, was completely captivated by a Nat Geo title about ocean life. Another student who loves animals now checks out a different book each day. These moments matter so much—and they wouldn't be possible without you.\r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in our classroom and in the potential of every learner. We are now the proud owners of TWO laminators, a mountain of laminating pouches, some seriously helpful resource books, and two AbleNet switches that are already making magic happen!\r\n\r\nOur laminators are already working overtime—basically, they've become the hottest machines in class (no offense to the pencil sharpener). We're laminating everything that stands still. Student work? Laminated. Visuals? Laminated. Our lunch menu? Maybe. It's honestly a little addictive.\r\n\r\nThe AbleNet switches are total game-changers for our students who need different ways to communicate and participate. It's amazing to see them light up when they can join in with just a tap.
