Welcome to our English classroom! I currently serve high school juniors and seniors taking either Advanced Placement Language and Composition or Business Communication and Literature. Room 103 is a place where students are expected to work hard, think critically, and confidently share their ideas through writing and speaking by practicing careful reading and listening. Every voice matters in our classroom and every perspective is valued; it is my personal belief that the best preparation for college or career (and adulthood in general) is immersion in a diverse community where active participation is essential to success. Students in room 103 are encouraged and supported in their efforts to develop meaningful, culturally aware, and impactful voices that will allow them to effectively contribute to our community of learners, and ultimately, to the community at large. We greatly appreciate any and all support!
