Because of your generosity, my students have been able to dive into engaging texts while developing meaningful reading and discussion skills. I organized students into small groups based on their interests and book preferences, which has made reading feel personal and exciting. Each day, students take on important roles such as summarizer, discussion leader, vocabulary enricher, passage master, connector, and illustrator. These roles help them think deeply about the text while building comprehension, critical thinking, and collaboration skills.\r\n\r\nReading time in our classroom has transformed into a lively, student-driven experience. Instead of simply reading quietly, students are actively engaged by sharing ideas, asking thoughtful questions, and making meaningful connections. The structure of literature circles has given every student a voice and a purpose, and it's been incredible to watch their confidence grow as they lead discussions and learn from one another.\r\n\r\nMany of my students eagerly look forward to this part of the day. They come prepared, focused, and excited to contribute to their groups. Even students who were once hesitant readers are now fully engaged and committed to their roles.
