So far I have been able to use it for my 2nd grade art students throughout the four schools that I teach art at. I work with 17 classes of 2nd graders! I have also been able to use it with my Special Day Classes at my four schools as well. There the impact has been significant. I was able to make a reverse cutout of a heart for the special needs students to be able to paint within the pattern with their finders or hands and make a beautiful heart tree that I have seen hung on classroom walls, hallways, and sent home to give to their loved ones.\r\n My second graders, so far, were able to use circle cutouts to trace so they wouldn't have to worry about making a perfect circle for them to cut out and create a collage. It took away from the stress of having to make a \"perfect\" circle and they could just focus on the creative part of their project. \r\n Thank you so much for your support. I'm already thinking of more art projects that I will be able to use the Cricut for.","fullyFundedDate":1764683017294,"projectUrl":"project/cricut-for-kinders/9634907/","projectTitle":"Cricut for Kinders","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Cordero","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp469733_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755735865799","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-cordero-art"},{"teacherId":254691,"projectId":9412933,"letterContent":"The new resources that we have been granted through your generosity are amazing. Our class recently took our PE time to explore the new equipment. One game that was fabulous for our class in building teamwork was playing kickball for the first time all year. With our bases in a bag kit, we had the perfect set up to work on our kickball baseball skills. What an amazing time. \r\n In addition to kickball, we were able to enjoy some PE rotation time with our grade level peers. During these rotations, we were able to host relay races with jump ropes and balls, bean bag games, and soccer! Having our own specialized equipment has given us a sense of ownership and love for team games.\r\n Finally, as part of our donations we were gifted with indoor equipment. Our yoga balls have proven to be an outstanding flexible seating option for many students in our class who need alternative seating. Students are able to focus more with these optional seating choices. We have also learned to take turns and share equipment with our own class and the other classes in fourth grade.\r\n Overall, this equipment has been a tremendous blessing to our class. We are grateful for the generous donations that have made our classroom an enjoyable place to be.","fullyFundedDate":1755302139466,"projectUrl":"project/fitness-in-fourth-grade/9412933/","projectTitle":"Fitness in Fourth Grade","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Stillman","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp254691_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1679529069928","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/stillman"},{"teacherId":9285652,"projectId":9116987,"letterContent":"we want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your generous donation of the smiley face carpet.
