We combine independent reading time with group discussions, where students share their interpretations and insights. I often use activities like book clubs or class reads, where students are encouraged to articulate their thoughts, listen to others, and refine their ideas.\r\n\r\nAs for particular students, I've noticed that the new books have resonated especially with students who are more reluctant readers. The diverse range of topics and perspectives in these texts has sparked their interest, allowing them to see themselves in the stories. These students are more engaged and excited to read, and it's wonderful to watch them grow more confident in their abilities. Some of the students who previously struggled with reading have found the new books to be more accessible, which has encouraged them to read more often and discuss books with greater enthusiasm.\r\n\r\nThe new books have had a significant impact on our students, sparking increased engagement and enthusiasm for reading.
