We absolutley love the new games. The students were absolutely thrilled to unwrap and explore the new board games, puzzles, and play dough. Every student was able to find something they loved to play with and they have gotten to explore new games they have not seen before. They have even taught me about some of the board games that I was not familiar with. It has been a great opportunity for students to work with others beyond their friends and practice basic social skills like taking turns and using kind and encouraging words. \r\nAlso, many of my students also have needed this practice in how to win and lose with grace. Many of them are used to big and loud reactions when they win or lose. This has been a good chance at how to lose or win with dignity and maintain their friendships with others. These games will be enjoyed by this group and in my future classes.
