I have already used it to show a couple of videos in their SEL (social emotional learning), math and science subjects in class. The activities that go along with the educational movies are great too. They have been engaging and helps support the standards we are covering within our core curriculum. My students are truly loving their learning journey with Annie and Moby (the animated characters in Brain PopJ Jr.). The attached activities are so easy to download and print too. Quick, easy prep is key when being an educator and Brain Pop Jr. definitely makes it easy. The students enjoy the games and jokes that go with each video. My students are always so excited to receive new reading material, and the Mad Libs is a fun activity that I introduced to them. They really enjoyed coming up with funny words to use in their stories. \r\n\r\nWith consistent access to engaging texts, my students are able to have more opportunities to practice reading books at their individual levels. The pencils and bookmarks are great stress-relievers for the students, and they are excited to utilize the different sentence reading stips to help them guide their eyes when reading in small group instruction. \r\n\r\nReading in my classroom looks like engagement, participation, enthusiasm, and concentration. My students are using the pencil sharpener to sharpen all their pencils and colored pencils. The cushions are used on the carpet, reading nook, and library in which students use them to read stories to themselves. The pencil pouches are used to hold all their materials, and the paper is used for important announcements and fliers that go home for parents. My students also use the headphones for the chrome books to listen to stories and to complete online assessments.\r\n\r\nThe students were very shocked and excited when they first saw the materials. I described how we were able to attain the resources and the importance of making sure we value the resources in order to use them correctly as well as maintain them for a very long time.\r\n\r\nMy next project for my classroom is to focus on my hyperactive learners and attain resources for them that would be beneficial to their learning and focus.
