This past year, students we able to gain the skills for embroidery. They learned different stitches and different techniques to make designs such as California poppies, a Mother's Day project, and a custom design for our school auction. Many of them now have fond memories of embroidering that will hopefully encourage them to embrace it as a hobby. \r\n\r\nI am continuing this work with my current students this year, since it was such a big hit last year.
