My students are like my family. They inspire me to be the very best I can be each and every day. They come with hugs and stories of their lives. They work hard for themselves and we celebrate their successes and work harder on the bumps in the road. My school is amazing. The teachers keep learning and sharing what they learn with their students. We are always discussing what we can do for the children, because they are number 1! We don't have a lot of the "bells and whistles" but we make up for it with enthusiasm, kindness, and knowing we make a big difference in the lives of so many. I love my job, I love my staff, and I love my students. In a profession where we work with children, we cannot have one without the other. I feel so lucky every single day!
