The cleaning products have helped keep our school library dust free and germ free, especially with the new year and a new round of students entering the library. After every wipe and spray and the end of the day, I am able to leave home and not worry about germs and dust mites lingering around. \r\nOur new cordless vacuum is THE best accessory to our library! Not only does this cordless, handheld vacuum allow our students to not worry about making a mess while doing activities, but it also helps our school custodians by giving them one less thing to worry about!\r\n Having a clean, germ-free library was one of my goals this upcoming school year, and thanks to you, I can focus more on providing fun and exciting activities and read aloud books for our students without having to worry about germs lingering around! \r\nHere's to a new, germ-free, school year!","fullyFundedDate":1747333832486,"projectUrl":"project/reading-not-sneezing/9078267/","projectTitle":"Reading! Opening up each package as they arrived was such a special moment for me as I knew that the students would love it as much as I did. The first thing the students noticed as they came into the library were the new flower pillows in the bean bag area, as that is their favorite place to read. Students could hardly wait for directions as they wanted to grab their favorite book and cuddle next to a flower pillow. Another thing the students noticed were the new books that were displayed on the front counter. I read them, \"Theres a Ghost in this House\", which was a book I received through donors choose and they were not only excited but in awe that it was a brand-new book. A student even described the \"new book smell!\" \r\nStudents also loved picking out new book-marks as they checked out their chapter books. When I finally brought out the magnetiles and the clip-connect toys, they could hardly hold in their excitement. I read them \"How to catch a turkey\", and the activity was to build a turkey trap using different materials including the clip-connect and magnetiles and it was such an amazing feeling to see the students not only enjoy reading a book but also enjoy a fun activity after. \r\nAs the year continues, I hope to have more activities that the students can enjoy and read more books of course.
