As a Title One school, we strive to provide students the materials they need to succeed academically and create environments where they feel safe and valued as members of their school community. \r\n\r\nEach day, I open my doors to students. At first, I was a bit embarrassed by the space because it needed so much care and I did not know if students would want to even come in! But every day they do. Thanks to the cleaning supplies you donated, every table and chair is clean. Students have access to facial tissue (a must at a school), pens and pencils, and of course, sticky notes for annotations. We now have table games like chess (and a club!) and cozy areas for students to study and read. Almost once a week a student shares how happy they are to be in the library.
