We have used the magazines in a variety of ways already, and look forward to the new year with the magazines as well.\r\n\r\nWe have been able to work on our discussion skills, and therefore strengthen our writing as well. Our big focus has been on finding evidence within the text to support our thoughts and opinions. An added bonus whenever we use the materials online sources, it comes with fun related videos that only deepen the conversation and the content the students want to learn about.\r\n\r\nWe also did a fun project where we got to look at all of the text features that were provided in the articles. The students were able to use this to create their own mini posters, describing the text features, and how they help readers understand what they are reading about. Our preschool classroom for young children now has hands-on learning tool that brings joy, engagement, and meaningful growth to our students. \r\n\r\nThe water sensory table has already made a powerful impact in our classroom. Many of our students benefit from sensory-based learning, and this sensory table provides a safe, calming, and interactive space for exploration. Through pouring, scooping, and exploration with sensory materials, students are strengthening fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and early problem-solving abilities. \r\n\r\nBeyond physical development, the sensory table has helped support social and emotional growth. Students are practicing turn-taking, sharing materials, and communicate with peers. For children who may struggle with language or emotional regulation, the soothing nature of sensory play has helped reduce anxiety and increase focus and participation.
