Your donation of musical instruments, magnetic write‑and‑wipe boards, and positive behavior charts has already made a joyful difference in our preschool classroom.\r\n\r\nThe children absolutely love singing with their new maracas and shakers — their excitement and confidence during music time have grown so much.\r\nThe magnetic board is a favorite for practicing alphabet letters; students are learning letter recognition and early literacy through hands‑on play.\r\nThe positive behavior charts are helping us celebrate small successes and build a warm, encouraging classroom community.\r\nWe were all delighted to receive these items. Your support not only supplies wonderful learning materials but also shows our students that people care about their growth and happiness. Because of your donation, we now have access to a color printer—and it has completely transformed the way I support my students.\r\n\r\nWith this new resource, I've been able to create vibrant, engaging materials including colored visuals, communication boards, and take-home parent handouts. For many of our students, having access to color isn't just a preference—it's a powerful tool that helps improve understanding, engagement, and independence.\r\n\r\nOne special moment came during a session when a student with limited verbal communication was handed their newly printed color communication board. Their eyes lit up as they pointed to a picture of their favorite snack—something they hadn't been able to clearly express before. The clarity and appeal of the color made all the difference in helping them connect and communicate with confidence.\r\n\r\nOur students were immediately excited when they saw the colorful materials for the first time. One student even asked, \"Did you buy this from a store?\"—they couldn't believe something so professional-looking was made just for them, in our own room!\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we're using the printer to support a \"My Feelings, My Words\" unit, where students are learning to identify emotions and express them appropriately. The color visuals help bring abstract concepts to life, and we'll soon be printing individualized emotion charts and \"I feel/I need\" sentence strips for each student to take home. These materials will also help bridge communication between school and families—something we're deeply passionate about.\r\n\r\nThanks to you, our students are finding their voices—literally and figuratively. Your support has brought color, connection, and confidence into our speech room. Jones books, along with class sets of The BFG, The One and Only Ivan, The Name Jar, and The Wild Robot, has significantly enriched our reading program and fostered a love for literature among my students. These texts introduce essential skills such as comprehension, critical thinking, and vocabulary development. For instance, the humor and relatable experiences in the Junie B. Jones series engage my third grade students while teaching them about character development and narrative structure. Additionally, the fantasy elements in The BFG and The Wild Robot inspire imaginative thinking, allowing students to explore themes of friendship, bravery, and the impact of technology on nature.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom is an interactive and dynamic experience. Students are often found in small groups, engaged in lively discussions about the characters and plots, or enjoying quiet moments with a book during independent reading time. The cozy reading corner in our class library, filled with cushions and the new books, has become a favorite spot for students to delve into their stories. It's heartwarming to see them excitedly share their favorite passages and recommend books to their peers, creating a collaborative reading community.\r\n\r\nThis project has not only improved literacy skills but also nurtured a supportive classroom environment where students celebrate each other's progress and love for reading.
