My students are 3-5 year old preschoolers with one or more disability. All of my students have difficulties with speech and communication, and most of them have learning disabilities. Other challenges my students face include visual impairments, motor impairments and difficulties with social relationships. My students attend school Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. They attend a general education school with students from grades Kindergarten - 5th. Most of the funding at our school goes to the general education classrooms. Some money is allocated for special education, however it is never enough to cover the specific needs of my students.
