Many of my students take the bus and babywearing significantly improves this experience. Lugging a stroller, a baby, and a diaper bag on the bus can be quite cumbersome. This year we do not have that money. We are extremely unique in the fact that we take babies with their teen moms on field trips. We use this as a way to support the duality of our students and we feed them. These snacks will support our trips as we supplement this with other good we will buy for them on these trips. We made brushes and frames. The girls were so happy and enjoyed it deeply. \r\n\r\nI couldn't believe how creative some students were and they decorated their phones as well. It was a joy to watch them.\r\n\r\nWe brought the camera on our field trip. We took pictures of girls with their babies and then put the photos in frames. We plan to do this project again at the beginning of the year.\r\n\r\nHow fun for them to feel excited about school and creating relationships with each other. Creating a safe community takes time and effort.
