Students use the floor cushions while working in small-group instruction. While at their seats during classroom instruction some of my students use the wiggle cushions and sensory foot support. The classroom felt calm, engaged, and productive, and students were excited to learn.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the flexible seating options, they were excited to use them and especially the comfy floor sets. The iPad holders are working great in my classroom. My students have to complete minutes weekly on iready math and iready reading. It has helped my students so much because they don't have to hold up the iPads with their hands. My student's hands don't get tired from holding up the iPads and they can concentrate on the reading and math lessons. It has helped them pass lessons with 100 percent. \r\n\r\nIt has especially helped the ones that kept dropping the iPads on their desks from getting tired of holding them. It was a distraction to others because of the noise it would make when they dropped them. They are easy to open and place on their desks. From the moment the boxes arrived, they were filled with excitement and curiosity—asking again and again when they would finally get to use them. When the big day came, I showed them how to open the boxes, take out the easels, and set them up on their tables. The care and reverence they showed while handling their new tools was truly precious.\r\n\r\nFor our first project, we painted fall trees using acrylic paint. Having the easels made the task so much easier! Instead of leaning over their desks, students could sit comfortably, take their time, and focus on creating their masterpieces. It was incredibly joyful and humbling to watch them work so thoughtfully and complete their paintings with such pride. They even did an amazing job packing the easels away neatly for our next project—a winter forest scene.
