Our class has been blessed with many resources handed down from Room 25's previous teacher. One item we would greatly benefit from is a printer of our own. My students deserve high-quality final drafts of their typed writing assignments and digitally created works of art to add to their portfolios. To enhance students' penmanship, I create handwriting projects related to our curriculum. The printer will also be useful in producing documents related to the Science of Reading and Literacy. Each day, we will be learning how to identify sounds within words we know which aids in learning and articulating new words. That knowledge can be transferred into putting ideas onto the page so students can take on more ownership of their learning.
