I also work with older and younger students. With this donation, I have been able to find meaningful and age appropriate activities for a variety of needs. \r\n\r\nI was able to create a welcoming and calm environment for students, family and staff who visit, with visuals about feelings and coping strategies. \r\nI was also able to create visuals for students to use in their classrooms which supported teachers to carry over skills practiced in my room. \r\nWith younger students, I was able to find and create age appropriate, colorful and fun activities to reinforce the lessons we practice. The books are alphabet books which will introduce them to sound of the letters matching with a pictures as well. \r\n I will be gifting these books to each student in my classroom. Just recently my students did an activity about solid objects. Knowing the meaning for each shape and also seeing it in every day life objects. For a sphere representing a 3 dimension object and grasping the idea that it also represents a ball.
