We encourage the children to visit the library area while sitting comfortably on the couch with their peers and enjoying sharing the stories with one another. The staff would have read aloud with 5 children at a time to engage and read stories the children choose.\r\n\r\nThe students were so excited to see it in the library area!! When I first brought it inside the classroom they could not wait to see how it looked. As soon as I put it in the library area they ran to it so they could all sit on it. The new couch encouraged them to be in the library area more often and invite their peers to look at books together.
