They've been eager to set up games like kickball and basketball, learned how to actively participate and get their bodies moving, follow rules, and work together. One of the most meaningful moments for me was seeing students who are usually hesitant to join group activities confidently jump into the activities, smiling and encouraging their classmates. The equipment has made it easier to keep everyone moving and engaged while building important social and physical skills.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new equipment, they were excited couldn't believe all the equipment was all for them. There were so happy and grateful and of course the questions about when they could start using it. Thanks to our donors, recess and PE now feel more inclusive and joyful for everyone. Moving forward, we will continue using these resources to teach teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy habits, helping students grow not only as learners but as active, confident kids. Since students have been completing assignments on the computer, their scores have really made a positive impact.
