Your contribution has made a world of difference in my classroom. Now that we have a charging station my classroom is so much organized and hazard free. My students know exactly where to put their computers as well as were to retrieve them from so we do not have to worry about lost laptops nor lost time. My students desks also look much more organized and clean which has contributed towards classroom engagement since they are not tempted by technology. \r\n\r\nAll of my students love the cart. As both of you are well aware, students love technology and having the charging cart simply adds to the technology to our room which makes it more appealing for them. My students also love not having to wait for an outlet to become available so that they can charge their laptops. They use their computers for various reasons. For example, they use it daily for IReady, a program designed to meet students academically on their own individual learning level. They also use it for research and for typing; such as when they did their informative writing essay, opinion essay, etc. Last example would be for state and curriculum testing. \r\n\r\n It has personally helped me with time management (all laptops are fully charged) as well as with not having to worry about students dealing with cords or tripping on them.
