The artists that I worked with this year was so inspiring and phenomenal. Due to donors choose' generosity, there were no limits for the students' creativity. The large canvases also freed up other small canvases to create installation art pieces. The extra supplied allowed students to combine their efforts and build on each other's ideas to create pieces larger than life. A great deal of the work pictured is the combination of multiple 30 X 40 panels. Students leveraged ipads (also given by donors choose), to combine works done on the donated canvases.\r\n\r\nFinally, the 30 by 40 canvases gave students the seniors the freedom to do graduation portraits. The girls will leave behind these portraits as a reminder of how art can be a vehicle for self discipline, and success in college. These girls have nearly a full ride to Otis College of Art and Design, because of the generosity of Donors Choose. My partnership with the organization has taught me that anything is possible when students have the art to create and unlimited resources. Thank you for all that you've given my students.
