I cannot say enough how much it benefitted out classroom day to day instruction. We are now able to have lessons on our carpet and in different parts of the classroom which makes our space so much more functional and allows for more small group instruction, which really benefits students. \r\n\r\nBecause our classes cap at 35 students, when they are full, it can make the room very crowded with desks. It started to become challenging to have a small group space set up and have room for all of the student desks in the room. The mobile whiteboard made it so that I can more effectively utilize the space within the classroom for student learning. I am able to call students over to the classroom rug and, using the white board, teach them there. They LOVE small group time at the rug. When I pull math groups, I have students asking to be in a group, even if they don't need it because they enjoy the learning space, and that is thanks to the movable white board! It has made students so much more engaged being in a space other than their desks and has made the room so much more functional. The whiteboard is also magnetic and when not in use, it is a great place to store task cards and anchor charts! \r\n\r\nThank you so much for supporting our classroom! You have helped make our space more engaging and functional and that really helps with student motivation. My students and I are very grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1743532898823,"projectUrl":"project/learning-around-the-room/8971935/","projectTitle":"Learning Around the Room","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Neally","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4939453_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1509318946123","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/dneally"},{"teacherId":5899439,"projectId":9549970,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity. It has been quite the eventful year so far. We went from 27 to 35 students in the 3rd week of school. We've been using our notebooks everyday and our binders are quickly filling with our novel studies and social studies. \r\n\r\nI am grateful to have community members such as yourselves, who make it possible for me to provide my students with the essentials. Your support has brought history to life in a way that truly captivates and inspires the young minds in my classroom. \r\n\r\nThanks to you, my students are not just reading about the American Revolution, they are experiencing it. Through gripping storytelling and vivid illustrations, they are stepping into the shoes of historical figures and ordinary people who lived through one of the most pivotal moments in our nation's history. For many of my students, especially reluctant readers, this graphic novel format made history more accessible, engaging, and exciting!\r\n\r\nI have seen students' enthusiasm for learning history grow as they connect the information they are learning in their history textbook and the novel, I Survived the American Revolution. They ask insightful questions and engage in deep discussions about courage, leadership, and resilience. \r\n\r\nThank you for making this possible.
