The xylophone is particularly popular and helps calm the students done and refocus them.\r\nWe have used the tambourine for back ground effects and also to make tableau (frozen image) changes on stage!\r\nI really am so grateful for these gifts to our classroom they have been game changing!!!","fullyFundedDate":1735331102186,"projectUrl":"project/musical-instruments-for-the-performing-a/9018364/","projectTitle":"Musical Instruments for the Performing Arts Theatre Program","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Steele","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9627779_orig.jpg?crop=1573,1573,x853,y293&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1735065168440","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9627779"},{"teacherId":9848351,"projectId":8968585,"letterContent":"Introducing Solito to my ELD classroom had a powerful impact. Many of my students saw their own experiences reflected in Javier Zamora's journey, which created a strong emotional connection to the text. It opened the door for meaningful discussions about identity, migration, and resilience. The book not only supported language development through rich vocabulary and storytelling structures, but also empowered students to share their voices. I noticed an increase in engagement, confidence, and a sense of belonging in the classroom.
