This training has reinforced how overstimulated we are by daily stressors and how simple breathing techniques can help regulate the nervous system. I've learned that there are various types of breathwork, each serving a unique purpose, but all designed to bring a sense of calm and balance. \r\n\r\nOne specific takeaway I can bring into my classroom is the use of *inviting, trauma-informed language* when guiding mindfulness practices. This approach ensures that all students feel safe, included, and empowered as they learn to regulate their emotions and nervous systems.
